What will you be doing?

The Business Development Manager will play a valuable part in unlocking growth and building the Cross Border client portfolio by navigating through small, mid-size and enterprise level companies and engage with C-suite executives and business line owners. The role has an understanding of clients' business objectives and closely aligns the offering to those to create a solution the clients can't live without. The position will make huge contributions to the product roadmap by gathering customer feedback and requests and delivering those to internal teams. Importantly, the role will focus on all aspects of the sales process from prospecting, through full discovery stage and ensure a long-standing business partnership where value delivered to the client translates into maximized long term value for Novatti. In this role you will:

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on market analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/ expense analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, marketing and business development teams to organise new business development initiatives.
  • Prospect for potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities.
  • Present new products and services to improve existing relationships.
  • Recognise opportunities for distribution channels, services and campaigns that will result in sales.
  • Forecast sales objectives and ensured they are fulfilled.

What would make you a good candidate?

  • You have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Development or Sales Management role within the Cross Border industry.
  • You have experience in contract negotiation and account development.
  • You have strong skills in budgeting, sales, selling and forecasting.
  • You have the ability to manage client relationships at multiple levels, from frontline to Board level.
  • You have a strong drive to achieve personal goals and are a proactive, self-motivated learner.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively in teams and manage your own time and capabilities
